How do I know if an avocado is ripe?
The avocado is a fruit that is never ripe on the tree, you have to pick it and it ripens afterwards. We pick our avocados and send them to you immediately, so you have to wait a few days until they are completely ripe.

The ripening times of the mangos depend on the variety. Here we explain how you can tell:
FUERTE VARIETY
The avocados of the Fuerte variety must be a bit soft and most important: the hole of the stem should not be green (unripe), it must be yellow.

HASS VARIETY
The Hass avocados must be dark, a little soft and again the hole in the stem must be yellow, as with the Lamb-Hass variety.

To speed up the ripening process you can wrap the fruit in newspaper, always at room temperature and it helps to put an apple next to it.
How do I peel an avocado?
When the avocados are ripe, it is very easy to peel them.
You just have to cut the avocado horizontally in the middle and then turn the two parts in opposite directions. Then take out the seed with a spoon and then the flesh. To d oxidation, just sprinkle it with lemon juice.
You can enjoy our organic avocados between October and June, almost all year round avocados from Europe!
