Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Málaga, Spain. Obtained from olive trees totally free of fertilisers, herbicides and pesticides.

All the olive trees used to make this oil are certified organic.

This oil is a blend of 3 varieties: 50% Hojiblanca, 25% Picual and 25% Verdial:

Hojiblanca is the most commercialised oil in Spain for having mainly a sweet and fruity taste but with slight spiciness, ideal for pasta, cakes, cream or hot soups and even for its characteristics to reduce the smell of fish.
The picual olive (ending in a beak) has a combination of flavours between fresh grass together with fruitiness and a slight bitterness. Andalusia is the largest producer of olive oil in the world and it is estimated that half of its production is Picual. It is ideal for salads or meat stews.
The last 25% of the blend is made with Verdial olives, a variety native to the Axarquia region, of which Periana accounts for 90% of production. It has a sweet taste and a golden colour and is the speciality of this cooperative.
These three olives combined give our organic olive oil a slightly bitter and spicy flavour which makes it ideal for meals where we want the flavour to be preserved, such as salads or roast fish or meat.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Our oil comes from a cooperative in Periana, Malaga.

Around 800 farmers 👨🏼‍🌾 belong to this cooperative and take loving care of their olive trees, most of which are over a hundred years old.
